Bishopswood Church

All Saint’s Church Bishopswood has played a central role in the community since it was endowed in 1841.

The church is a simple building, hidden in the trees to the East of the main B4243 Ross-on-Wye to Colford road. Constructed of the green stone from the Forest of Dean it is known locally as "The Church in the Woods".

Walford Parish Council

Lying 2 miles south of the Herefordshire market town of Ross-on-Wye, the parish of Walford is one of the largest in south Herefordshire.   It comprises the settlements of Bishopswood, Walford, Hom Green, Coughton and Deep Dean.

Wye Pursuits

Based on the banks of the River Wye at Kerne Bridge, Wye Pursuits provides the perfect setting for outdoor adventure activities including; canoe hire, canoing and kayaking, white water rafting, caving, climbing and abseiling.

Ross on Wye Cricket Club

Currently running three senior teams, two on Saturday in the Marches League (Division II and III) and a Sunday Friendly XI; and   seven junior teams from under   elevens to under fiveteens.
